Our Member of The Family Program – Ideal For Dogs Of All Ages!

The help you need where you need it the most; in your own home and neighborhood!  Private, in-home dog training is the fastest, most comprehensive way for you, your family, and your pup to learn.

Our Member of the Family training program has two parts:

Basic Manners:  Good-bye Bad Dog!  Nipping, jumping, barking, chewing, pulling on walks…imagine having control over these basic dog problems that drive us all nuts!  This program will show you how to make all of these (plus more!) go away while teaching your dog how to be a valued member of your family at home, off-leash, because that’s real-life!  Graduates are eligible to continue on to our Real World Obedience.

Real World Obedience:*  This dog training program adds distractions, distance, duration and overall generalization to your dog’s new manners.  We’ll work on-leash in your neighborhood so that your dog will have the same manners and self-control in public (i.e. on the street, in your car, at the vet, the groomer, the dog park, a friend’s house, on the beach, on a hike…etc.), as he does at home.

*PREREQUISITE:  Owner must have a basic understanding of the principles of how to mark behavior with the use of a verbal marker and be able to get their dog to respond without the use of a leash or corrective collar.

Our lessons typically last 1 ½ hours so that everyone involved in the training has enough time to practice each step as well as ask questions, and most people have quite a few!  Since my focus is on pet training, not competition, I also spend time helping you understand how to use your new education in real-life situations and how to use real-life as your dog’s reward!
